Yu-Ping is an experienced language teacher, writer, and interpreter and she supports the development of brand expression and marketing collateral in Mandarin for the China market.

STORY
The Rare story began in 2002 when Jussara was a senior high school student with a design talent and a business vision set to reinterpret branding as a means for businesses to differentiate themselves in an increasingly digital marketplace, in a ‘fresh but slightly cheeky’ way. Jussara and Jan Bierman established Rare Design Limited In 2003.
Our design goal was to produce clean and edgy designs and messages that challenge the assumptions of a brand, and integrate consistently across all aspects of a business. We set out to work with clients who were seeking to distinguish themselves in the market; clients who did not want to be represented by tired or copycat imagery or ideas.
These days our clients seek us out for our creative thinking, our understanding of their business ambition, and our strong customer relationship ethos. This makes us pretty happy.
In 2012, Rare opened an office in Shanghai, China. In 2013, Rare will be opening an office in São Paulo, Brazil.
